The Property — Etamba House is a colonial-inspired tropical villa that channels the elegance of a bygone era while delivering the comfort and privacy modern luxury travellers expect. The architecture draws on Sri Lankan and colonial Caribbean influences — high pitched timber ceilings, wide covered verandas with elegant wooden columns, whitewashed walls, and natural stone accents. The property centres on a private swimming pool surrounded by mature tropical gardens and visible from nearly every room. Inside, expansive open-plan living spaces feature statement four-poster beds, freestanding stone bathtubs, and curated colonial-era furnishings mixed with contemporary comforts.

The Brief — The owners operate Etamba House as a luxury holiday rental and needed visual content that would drive premium bookings in the €800–1,200/night bracket while also supporting a future sale. The brief emphasised mood and atmosphere over square footage: night pool photography, veranda lifestyle shots, interiors highlighting four-poster beds and stone bathrooms, aerial drone footage, a 360° virtual tour, and a cinematic video with slow, contemplative luxury pacing.

What We Delivered — A photography package of 25 premium edited photos, three aerial drone shots, a complete 360° virtual tour with interactive hotspots, a 2:30 cinematic film, and a 45-second social cut. The night shoot captured the illuminated pool as the property's signature after-dark feature.

The Results — The package was deployed across the villa's dedicated website, Airbnb Luxe, a boutique travel platform, and targeted Instagram/Facebook campaigns. Within the first month, the nightly enquiry rate increased from 2.3 to 6.8 per week — a 195% increase. The average booking value rose from €890 to €1,050/night after the owners raised rates based on the premium visual presentation. The 360° tour was viewed 340 complete times in the first 30 days with an average engagement of 4:12, and the twilight pool shot generated 15,000+ organic impressions through travel blogger features.
